Is my marketing team able to use web crawlers to improve my website?
In order for RevolutionParts to protect data and our infrastructure, we by default block web crawlers from crawling sites that we host. This excludes beneficial crawlers, notably search engines bots such as Google, Bing, etc.
However, if your marketing team needs to use a friendly web crawler for valid purposes they will need to contact our Support team so we can evaluate whether we're willing to unblock it.
IMPORTANT:
RevolutionParts reserves the right to stop any web crawler at any time even after it has been approved if we believe they are being used in a way we don't approve.
What information is needed to request a crawler whitelisting?
Please email support@revolutionparts.com with the information below:
1- The requests should come from one of the account owners
2- Specify which domain you are working under.
3- Purpose/How your web crawler will be used.
Once you've provided the official request to our Support team, please allow at least 3-5 business days for processing.
