You can create bundles in bulk by following the steps listed in this article below.
If you only need to create individual items not in bulk, you can also do so via the Products tab as shown in this Knowledge Base article.
1- Navigate to the Bulk Imports section
1- Go to Settings
2- Click on Bulk > Imports
3- Click on New Import
2- Select the right bulk job type
1- Be sure to select "Products" as the job type
2- Download the Products File Template.
3- Format your CSV file correctly
The Products File Template contains a large number of items that can be edited in bulk but you will need to have the headers below at a minimum in order to correctly create bundles in bulk.
When correctly formatted, your file should look like the example below:
Important:
The Components column must be formatted as indicated below or the bulk import will not work.
- Add the brand of the bundle first, then add a comma to separate the first product.
- You need to add a comma followed by the number of products in the bundle for that SKU.
- Lastly, you will need to add " | " as shown below to separate each product. Repeat 1 and 2 above to add more products.
When done correctly, your COMPONENTS column should look like this:
The bulk upload above will create a bundle with 3 products and 7 items total:
1 part # BL3Z-8620-C
4 part # BR3Z-6B209-E
2 part # BR3Z-8620-S
NOTE:
You will need to select at least one product that the bundle should map its fitment.
You will need to add the fitment as shown below.
Your end result should look like something like this on the live web store:
Helpful Notes
Optional attributes:
You can add other attributes to bundles like bundle other attributes like availability, description, dimensions, while creating the bundles in your bulk import or at any other time later one.
Bundle Discounts:
You can add bundle discounts to each bundle after they have been created in bulk. The option to set a bundle discount is currently not available in bulk.
Images:
You can add images to each bundle after they have been created in bulk. Images will not be transferred from existing product images.
Product attributes:
Global attributes Hazmat, Local pickup and Non returnable are automatically inherited from the individual products in the bundle. For example if a single product in the bundle is marked for Hazmat, then the bundle itself will inherit that attribute and will be Hazmat as well.
Availability:
Product availabilities such as Not for sale or Call for availability are automatically inherited from the individual products in the bundle. For example, if a single product in the bundle is marked as Local Pickup Only, then the bundle itself will inherit that attribute and will be Local Pickup Only.
