With this model, there is a marketing channel (Webstore) that allows buyers to shop, build a cart, and then checkout with a participating supplier. This is called "Lead Gen" because the participating supplier's checkout (merchant accounts, shipping, taxes, promos, and pricing) is being used. The buyer, in this case, is a "lead" that's referred to the participating supplier. Checkout will show the buyer that they are doing business with that particular supplier.
