The Nissan PDC Direct Ship feature will make it easy to grow sales and ship more orders without the hassle of stocking more inventory or spending more time on shipping.
If you're part of the early release of Nissan PDC Direct Ship, you will see the option to direct ship items live in your account starting September 16, 2024.
Step One
When a new order is received, your Order Details page will show a banner below the ordered parts when they are available for Direct Ship.
If you have other non-Nissan dropship suppliers set up in your site, the banner may not appear, but you can drop ship to any supplier by using the Actions menu.
Step Two
Click the blue Dropship Items button in the banner below the part numbers, or select to dropship the parts using the “Actions” menu in the upper left, as seen below.
Step Three
The selected parts that are eligible for Direct Ship are displayed, along with a confirmation to ship the items from the Nissan PDC system.
Step Four
After the Dropship Items button is clicked:
- A confirmation message is displayed at the top of the screen
- A child order (dropshipped order) is created within the parent order showing that the item(s) have been sent to the Nissan PDC for fulfillment
Step Five
- As order status updates are received, the child order status will be updated to Completed, Backordered, or Canceled
- When RP receives a status of “completed” the child order will update and display the FedEx tracking number
That's it! Now you're ready to use Nissan Direct Ship to grow your online parts business without adding inventory or staff.
