Automated Messaging 

Save time sending messages back and forth with customers about status updates or shipping times by enabling automated messaging to your customers. The new Automated Messaging feature provides proactive automated messages (email or SMS) to a customer when a selected status change takes place on their order. 

Examples of automated messages that can be set up include: 

  • An order is ready to ship
  • An order has been canceled
  • The expected shipping time has changed to 10-15 days
  • IOE New parts are included in the order and no VIN number has been provided

To set up an automated message, navigate to your automation page, found at the top of your settings menu. 

Choose New Automation 

 

 

You’ll be able to set up automated messages for types of orders and actions by choosing from dropdown menus within the automation rule tool. You will be able to create your own messaging templates for each rule by navigating to the Templates page in your settings menu. For cancellation messages, you can create templates based on specific reasons for cancellation, such as the part being out of stock or shipping issues. 

 

 

Now, every time one of your chosen actions occurs, your customer will be automatically notified, providing them with a positive experience and saving you time on manually sending out updates. 

 

Intercept Shipment Option via RP UPS

If you need to stop a UPS shipment that is already in progress, you can now choose “Intercept Shipment” from the “Other Actions” menu item. This can be used when you realize that an address is wrong, the incorrect part has been shipped, or you need to stop the shipment for any other reason. 

 

 

Weekend Delivery Dates 

If delivery dates were scheduled to fall on a weekend, they previously were automatically moved to the nearest upcoming weekday. Now, with all carriers delivering on weekends, the move to a weekday no longer occurs and weekend delivery dates can be shown. 

 

Bulk Importing Product Images 

The Bulk Import tool now accepts both CSV and ZIP files when bulk importing product images to the RP Platform.

 

 

Automate Uploading Product Images 

You can now automate uploading product images via FTP using credentials. The new Feeds feature allows you to securely upload color product images via CSV or ZIP file using the RP FTP server. This uses the default credentials available on each account. 

 



PDC Inventory for Mitsubishi US and MOPAR US & CA Dealers

PDC Inventory gives Mitsubishi US dealers the power to synchronize parts availability with the current stock available at Parts Distribution Center (PDC) nationwide. PDC Inventory does the same for MOPAR US & CA PDC dealers with their inventory. Here’s what you can expect:

  • Minimized order cancellations. No more disappointed customers due to out-of-stock parts. List product availability (Available, On Backorder, or Discontinued) based on the stock available at PDCs nationwide.
  • Access to extended inventory. Your inventory isn't limited to what's in your local warehouse anymore. Now, include the stock available at all PDCs, effectively expanding the availability of your parts.
  • Increased sales conversions. By showcasing additional stock levels from PDCs on your Web Store, customers are more likely to find what they need and make a purchase.
