How to Enable PDC Inventory

RevolutionParts has partnered with manufacturers and other partners to gain access to inventory from distribution centers nationwide. Once RevolutionParts has access to the inventory data, we can share the facing Parts Distribution Center (PDC) or Regional Distribution Center (RDC) inventory through an external warehouse and set product availability based on the stock levels across all distribution centers.

 

RevolutionParts currently supports shared warehouses for distribution center inventory from the following brands only:

  • Mopar (US and Canada)
  • Mercedes-Benz (US only)
  • BMW (US only)

Dealers that sell products from the supported brands will all have access to an external warehouse that shares the inventory for their nearest distribution center. Each dealer can enable the inventory from the shared warehouse on any of their active selling channels. Please follow the steps below to enable PDC/RDC inventory across your channels.

Instructions for Enabling PDC/RDC Inventory Across Channels

  1. Log into your account at manage.revolutionparts.com.
  2. Click the gear icon in the top right-hand corner of the navigation bar to access your Settings.

  3. Click "Inventory" on the left-hand navigation bar > click “Warehouses”.
  4. Select the PDC warehouse from the list of available warehouses.

  5. Scroll down to the bottom of the warehouse settings page to the Selling Channels configuration section.
  6. Select the selling channel(s) that you would like to have access to inventory from the distribution center.
  7. Click on “Save Changes” once you’re finished updating the warehouse settings.

Note: This feature is only accessible to Supervisors and Account Owners.
