Top Rated Seller requirements:

Top rated Sellers are recognized by eBay as outstanding sellers who consistently deliver outstanding customer service. To meet eBay’s criteria for a top rated seller. By signing up with RevolutionParts you are automatically grated top seller status on all of your listings (with exceptions).


Then, once you're a Top Rated seller, your listings can qualify for additional benefits. If your listings offer same- or one-business-day handling plus a 30-day or longer return period with money back option, you get:

  • The Top Rated Plus seal () displayed prominently
  • A 20% discount on final value fees (this applies to the final item price only, not to shipping charges). For RevoluitonParts dealers your eBay final value fees goes from 10% down to 8%.

  • Sales Requirements:
    • Must have 100 transactions with US buys over the most recent 12-month period. 
    • Must have at least $1,000 in sales with US buyer over the most recent 12-month period. 
  • Tracking Requirements:
    • Dealer must upload a valid tracking number within the promised handling time (24hours) for at least 90% of orders in the last 3 months.
      • 1 business day handling time & Same business day handling time allows you to upload tracking info up to one full business day
      • Handling time is measure in business days. Weekends and holidays are not counted towards you 24-hour turnaround time.

  • Transaction Defect Rate: 
    • The defect rate is defined by eBay as the percentage of a seller’s transactions that have any of the following transaction-related defects
      • eBay Money Back Guarantee and PayPal Purchase Protection cases closed without seller resolution
      • Seller-initiated transaction cancellation
    • Top rates sellers can only have a 0.5% of transactions with one or more defects over the most recent evaluation period

  • eBay Money Back Guarantee and Paypal Purchase Protection:
    • Cases closed without seller resolution cannot exceed 0.30% of closed cases
  • Late Shipment Rate:
    • Dealer must have less than 3% of transactions with late shipping. If shipment is scanned by carrier within handling time the order is considered on time.
