How to Set Up a Payment Gateway (Authorize.net, CenPOS, or WorldPay)

Accepting credit cards is vital to a successful online store, and payment gateways such as Authorize.net, CenPOS, and WorldPay are great options. You'll usually only use one credit card processor for your store, so once you've decided which you'll use, scroll down to the corresponding section below for quick instructions on how to set it up.

Setting up Authorize.net

To set up Authorize.net on your RevolutionParts store, you'll need an existing account with Authorize.net. Click here to create an account and obtain your API login ID and transaction key.

Once you have obtained your credentials:

  1. Log in to your RevolutionParts store
  2. From the left-side menu, select Cart Settings > Payment, Shipping & Discounts > Payment Methods OR click "Payments" under Helpful Tools (see image below)Screen_Shot_2017-08-01_at_8.14.15_AM.png
  3. Payment Configuration tab - select "Authorize.net" from the drop-downScreen_Shot_2017-08-01_at_8.32.46_AM.png
  4. Enter your API Login ID and Transaction Key into the corresponding fields
  5. Click the "Save & Activate" button. This will save your credentials and activate the Authorize.net payment gateway on your site.

That's it! Authorize.net is now integrated and ready to accept credit card payments.

 

Setting up CenPOS

These steps are virtually identical to setting up Authorize.net. To set up CenPOS on your RevolutionParts store, you'll need an account with CenPOS. Click here to create an account and obtain your API login ID and transaction key.

Once you have obtained your credentials:

  1. Log in to your RevolutionParts store
  2. From the left-side menu select Cart Settings > Payment, Shipping & Discounts > Payment Methods OR click "Payments" under Helpful Tools (see image below)Screen_Shot_2017-08-01_at_8.14.15_AM.png
  3. Payment Configuration tab - select "CenPOS" from the drop-downScreen_Shot_2017-08-01_at_8.32.46_AM.png
  4. Enter your API Login ID and Transaction Key into the corresponding fields
  5. Click the "Save & Activate" button. This will save your credentials and activate the CenPOS payment gateway on your site.

That's it! CenPOS is now integrated and ready to accept credit card payments.

 

Setting up WorldPay (formerly SecureNet)

Despite one additional field, setting up WorldPay is very similar to setting up Authorize.net or CenPOS. To set up WorldPay on your RevolutionParts store, you'll need an account with SecureNet. Click here to create an account, then obtain your Group ID, SecureNet ID, and SecureNet SecureKey.

  1. Log in to your RevolutionParts store
  2. From the left-side menu select Cart Settings > Payment, Shipping & Discounts > Payment Methods OR click "Payments" under Helpful Tools (see image below)Screen_Shot_2017-08-01_at_8.14.15_AM.png
  3. Payment Configuration tab - select "WorldPay" from the drop-down Screen_Shot_2017-08-01_at_8.32.46_AM.png
  4. Enter your Group ID, SecureNet ID, and SecureNet SecureKey into the corresponding fields
  5. After you've entered your information, click the "Save & Activate" button beneath the fields. This will save your credentials and active the WorldPay payment gateway on your site.

That's it! WorldPay is now integrated and ready to accept credit card payments.

  1. Log into your account on manage.revolutionparts.com
  2. Click the arrow to the right of your name in the top-right corner
  3. Select "Account Settings" from the dropdown

  4. Click "Store Settings" in the left-side menu
  5. Select your RevolutionParts store

  6. Under that store, click "Payment"

On that page, you'll have a few store settings.

  1. Currency Code - Select from dropdown
  2. Credit Card Auth Mode:
    • Authorization Only - When your buyer approves an authorization, the buyer's balance can be placed on hold for a 29-day period to ensure the availability of the authorization amount for capture. You can reauthorize a transaction only once, up to 115% of the originally authorized amount (not to exceed an increase of $75 USD). (These terms are subject to change by the payment providers.)
    • Charge - When your buyer places an order, the full actual amount will be charged to their credit card immediately.Screen_Shot_2017-08-01_at_11.28.48_AM.png
  3. Accepted Cards - "checkmark" all that apply (Note: If using PayPal as your processor, you may need to add Amex as a form of payment on your actual PayPal account) Screen_Shot_2017-08-01_at_11.30.27_AM.png
  4. Click the green "+New Payment Method" button to add a new payment methodScreen_Shot_2017-08-01_at_11.31.15_AM.png
  5. Payment method - select from the dropdownScreen_Shot_2017-07-12_at_12.50.31_PM.png
  6. Input any necessary credential info (ex: username, password, API signature, merchant ID and etc)
    • Enabled - Yes
    • Test Mode - No
  7. Click the blue "Add Payment Method" button
  8. Save Changes
