How to Create Split Shipments (Multiple Shipment Orders)

There may be times when an order requires more than one shipment. This can occur when there are glass parts that need to be split into their own box or when some of the parts are on backorder. RevolutionParts has designed our order screen so that this can be accomplished easily.

Follow the steps below to complete split shipments: 

  1. Log in to the RevolutionParts Control Panel
  2. Open the order you want to ship.
  3. Under the "Content" section, click "Create Shipment"
  4. Uncheck items that will be packaged in a separate shipment
  5. Choose the method you want to ship with (Shipping Manager) or select other shipping options.
    • NOTE: if you choose to ship VIA shipping manager the rest of the shipment steps will be completed in Shipping manager (ie. ShipRush). Order will remain open until all items have been marked and assigned a shipment. 
  6. Repeat this process for the remaining items being shipped in another box until order has been completed.

You have successfully shipped multiple shipments.
