How to set up canned messages

Canned messages can cut down on the time it takes to respond to everyday questions that come into the message center. These are best created for questions that come up regularly and response does not vary much. This can be changed at any time or updated to include new messages as needed.

Follow the directions below to setup Canned Messages:

  1. Login to RevolutionParts admin panel
  2. Navigate to Cart Settings
  3. Select Email Settings and Tools > Canned Messages
  4. Click “Add a New Canned Message”
  5. Enter the Name you want to appear in the dropdown when selecting which canned message to use
  6. Select the Priority (or order) you would like this message option to assume within the list of canned messages available
  7. Type your subject and message into the corresponding fields
    You can use the variable fields listed below the body area to make messages appear more personalized
  8. Click Save

Visual Guide:

  • Login to RevolutionParts admin panel. 
  • Navigate to "Cart Settings"
  • Select Email Settings and Tools > Canned Messages
  • Click "Add a New Canned Message"
  • Remaining Steps:
    • Enter the Name you want to appear in the dropdown when selecting which canned message to use
    • Select the Priority (or order) you would like this message option to assume within the list of canned messages available
    • Type your subject and message into the corresponding fields

    • Click Save
