How to set up Abandoned Cart Savers
What is the Abandoned Cart Saver?
The Abandoned Cart Saver (also known as a Drift Marketing Campaign) is an automated email tool that helps you follow up with customers who leave your site without completing their purchase (put parts in their cart, but don't check out). It’s one of the easiest and most effective ways to recover revenue you might otherwise lose.

How to set up Abandoned Cart Savers for your RevolutionParts Store
- In your RevolutionParts dashboard, click your name in the top right corner.

Select "Account Settings" from the dropdown

From the sidebar, scroll down to ‘Selling Channels’ and select your RevolutionParts store.

Click on ‘Marketing,’ then ‘Abandoned Cart Savers’

Click the green ‘+ New Cart Saver’ button

To create your New Cart Saver, you’ll fill out the following fields:
- Campaign Name - Name your campaign (visible only to you)
- Campaign Enable - Enable (select from dropdown)

Campaign Type - Select the appropriate campaign type from the dropdown
- Cart Savers are sent when a buyer puts items in their cart but doesn't check out
- Quote Savers are sent if a buyer receives a quote but never checks out
- Accessories Campaign means the automated messaging is only sent for accessories, and not hard parts
- Email Delay - Enter how long after cart is abandoned you want the email sent (select from dropdown)
- Google Analytics Medium - Add text here as a tag, which will appear in Google Analytics on orders that converted from this campaign
- Subject - Enter the title of email (add Text Replacements (variables) if desired)
- Message Body - Type the email your buyer will see (add Text Replacements (variables) if desired)

Send Test Message - Enter your email address to test your Abandoned Cart email
- Click the blue ‘Add Cart Saver’ button.
Our tips to maximize recovery rates
- Send within 1–3 hours of abandonment for best results.
- Personalize with first names or product names if possible.
- Offer time-sensitive incentives like limited-time discounts or free shipping.

Follow up more than once (e.g., 1 hour, 24 hours, AND 3 days later).
