Bulk Uploading Products

If you plan on adding a lot or products and feel comfortable working in excel this option may be good for you. Simply download the excel template found in the attachments below and input your product data.

Categories Column:

If you have only one category then use the Category Key. If you want to add a product with multiple categories use "||" with no spaces between the category keys.

How to upload your spreadsheet:

  • Create an excel spreadsheet (NOTE: An excel template is provided at the bottom of the article)
  • Next make sure to save as a .CSV file in excel.

  • Type "Bulk Upload Product" and click tab

  • Upload your .CSV (comma delimited file) with all of your products then click upload file
  • Map your columns to the right data (useful in case you rename the columns or want to bulk upload other data such as Meta Titles and Descriptions). Skip will skip that column. For example, if we had dimensional information we would want to select from the drop down menu and map it to the appropriate data field.

  • Click "Update Products" and you're all done!

Final Thoughts

If you plan on uploading products in bulk it may be easier to do the same with images. To do this request your store id from support and then visit this how to article. Click here to learn how to bulk upload images.

Once your products are added send an email to our support team so we can find the best place to incorporate it into your design. Common places include the menu or directly on the homepage. If you want to look at the products before then click on the "Site Map" link found at the footer of your website. There you will find your categories with links to your products.
