Updating OEM Part Info is very easy. Here are some of the items you can update:
- Hazmat:
- It identifies the part to be Hazardous Materials. See "Shipping Dangerous Goods and Hazmat" for more information. If the store is not set to ship Hazmat and the buyer tries to add a part to the cart, they will see this message:
- Hide Fitment:
- Each product page has a fitment table. The hiding fitment field makes sure to hide that table from being seen by end-users.
- Local Pickup Only:
- It allows the part's only shipping method to be a local pickup, regardless of where the buyer is. It also adds a tag on the product page.

- Nonreturnable:
- The buyer cannot request a return for this part when this option is on.
- Ships in own box:
- It allows the part to be in its box for shipping calculation purposes. This allows parts such as wheels to be shipped separately. It's recommended for bigger parts, so the freight method (which is usually more expensive) does not get triggered.
- Fast Mover:
- Tag parts as fast movers and target them via Google Shopping feeds.
- Labor Time (Hours):
- Display how long it takes to install a part in hours.
- Sold in Quantity:
- Display the number of parts the package brings. This field adds to the description of the part on the product page.
- Tags:
- Tag parts to group them and add price rules by specific tags. For example: add "clearance" as a tag, then create a price rule that applies to the clearance tag at a slightly cheaper price than the rest of your catalog.
- Required MPNs:
- This field suggest other part numbers to be bought at the same time. For example, an assembly that cannot be installed without other specific parts -- add those parts in this field to save yourself the back and forth with the buyer. The part shown in the description will be hyperlinked.
- Note: it does not 'require' the part to be bought together. This feature only suggests/adds a note on the product description for the buyer to buy the other part - as seen below:

- Part Type:
- This field is used to apply ACES part types to products, which helps improve estimated weights and dimensions, along with suggested search terms on web stores. You can download a list of accepted values and add the part type IDs using a pipe delimited list (Example: 14998|14999).
