How to Use and Edit Product Subtitles

USING PRODUCT SUBTITLES ON A WEB STORE

Product subtitles aren't visible by default, but if you want to use them, simply follow the steps below!

1. Log into your Control Panel on manage.revolutionparts.com.
2. Click the gear in the top-right corner to access your Account Settings.
   
3. Expand "Selling Channels" in the left-side menu.
   
4. Click on the name of your Web Store to expand it.
5. Expand "Marketing," then click "SEO."
   

In the "Product Page" section, you'll see a field called, "Product Subtitle." Enter whatever you'd like in this field to add a brief description to all of your parts. Available variables ("Text Replacements" to the far-right of the field) include Product Name, Product SKU, and Product Fitment (manufacturer).

• We recommend that product subtitles be under 55 characters for SEO purposes.

Once you've entered a subtitle you're happy with, click "Save Changes" at the top-right of the page to lock everything in.

The products on your Web Store will now show a small subtitle underneath the main product title, which increases SEO on each individual product page!

USING PRODUCT SUBTITLES ON AN EBAY STORE

Your eBay listings already have a default product subtitle, "New OEM Factory Part." If you want to edit or customize this subtitle, follow the steps below!

1. Log into your Control Panel on manage.revolutionparts.com.
2. Click the gear in the top-right corner to access your Account Settings.
   
3. Expand "Selling Channels" in the left-side menu.
4. Click on your eBay store to expand it.
   
5. Click on "General."

On this page, you'll find the "Product Subtitle" field. Enter whatever you'd like in this field to add a brief description to all of your parts. Available variables ("Text Replacements" to the far-right of the field) include Product Name, Product SKU, and Product Fitment (manufacturer).

• Product subtitles at limited by the eBay platform to 55 characters or less.

Once you've entered a subtitle you're happy with, click "Save Changes" at the top-right of the page to lock everything in.

The products on your eBay store will now show your customized subtitle underneath the main product title, which increases SEO on each individual product listing!
